Jack Ehry, 60, passed away May 21, 2010, in Spokane, Wash.
Jack was born in Havre, Mont., on March 24, 1950, to Carl and Mary Ehry. He attended St. Jude's Elementary School and graduated in 1968 from Havre High School.
He married Linda Olson on July 1, 1978. Jack worked as a machinist at Carquest/Valley Motor Supply for 19 years before moving to Spokane Valley, Wash., in 1994. He worked for RAM Engines for 10 years and most recently for Pacific Clutch and Brake.
Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, rebuilding engines and restoring classic cars with his sons. He had attended Pines Baptist Church where he was active in AWANA and most recently attended Eastpoint Church.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Wanda McKnight-Staples; and his brothers, Pat and Larry Ehry.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; his sons, Nicholas and Daniel; and his granddaughter, Emma, all of Spokane Valley; his sisters, Mary Kay Ehry of Havre, Mont., and Maggie (Leon) Heller of Fargo, N.D .; and his sister-in-law, Hazel Ehry of Deer Lodge, Mont .; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held at Valleypoint Church, 714 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, on Thursday, May 27, 2010, 11 a.m., with inurnment the same day at 3
p. m., at Woodlawn Cemetery.
