Diane Loreen (Calvert) Howard, 68, of Stevensville, passed away from cancer Feb. 20, 2010. She was born in Great Falls Feb. 16, 1942, to Len and Mary (Burton) Calvert. She was raised in Harlem, was a cheerleader, a member of FHA and senior class president, graduating from Harlem High School in 1960. She moved to Seattle, where she met and married Terrance Prindiville. They had three children before divorcing. She moved to Great Falls where she married Henry Howard. The couple moved to Missoula and then to Stevensville. Diane and Henry divorced, she later moved to Spokane, later retiring and moving back to Stevensville. Survivors include her mother, Mary Calvert; her sister, Marla Bittinger; her brother, Dick Calvert; her sons, Casey, Todd and Scott Prindiville; her stepchildren, Gordon Howard and Debbie Volkmier; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at the Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville on Wednesday, Feb 24, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. with the family present. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at wfh@bridgeband.com.
