JANELL WARDELL obituary

Janell E. (Roke) Wardell, 84, a farm wife who loved reading, gardening, sewing, cooking, music, cards and collectibles, died from natural causes at her son's home in Havre on Tuesday, Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Chester.

Following burial in the Chester Cemetery, a reception will be held at the church.

Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester.

Survivors are two daughters, Mary Wilson of Circle Pines, Minn., and Janine Griffith of Plains; three sons, Wayne Wardell of Chester, John "Jack" Wardell of Renton, Wash., and George "Phil" Wardell of Havre; 16 grandchildren; and 16 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Sterling Wardell, and a son, Victor Wardell.
