Ann Katherine Litzinger, 97, died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes. Viewing will be held Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Her prayer vigil/ Rosary service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Friday, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church with Father Dale Yurkovic officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at St. Jude Parish Center immediately after the graveside service. Memorial contributions in Ann's honor may be made to St. Jude School, 419 6th Ave. Havre, MT 59501. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Ann was born Nov. 12, 1912, in Lemmon, S.D., to Lawrence and Anna Marie (Schneider) Roehrick. Ann worked as a seamstress at the Friedman Fur Store. She married Joseph Litzinger Feb. 7, 1936, in Grand Forks, N.D. The couple moved to Havre in 1950. Joe was transferred with the railroad. Ann enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, sewing and cooking. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish and the Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph in 1990; one brother; one sister; and a great-grandson, Berrit Litzinger, in 2009. Ann is survived by her children: daughters, Joan Litzinger, Janice (Al) Rosgaard and Judy Litzinger all of Havre, and her son, Bob (Clara) Litzinger, Havre, Mont.; one brother, Joe Roehrick of Grand Forks, N.D.; her grandchildren, Michael (Cathy) Litzinger, Jody (Jason) Keeling, Jim (Melissa) Litzinger, Cory Litzinger, Robbie Litzinger, and Ashlin, Jared and Justin Rosgaard; seven great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Sparky.
