Kegler's Korner saying goodbye for the summer

Men's City will be holding their league meeting tonight. Awards and money will be given out at 7 p.m. A short association meeting will follow. This is it, the last time you will be reading me for this season. I really hate to do it but let's go over everything one last time. If you are interested in bowling a spring league, call 265-5885 or visit Hi- Line Lanes for more information. They are still holding Jackpot bowling Saturday nights at 8 and your "Family Bowling Package" tickets can still be used. When accompanied by an adult, kids bowl for free. Kids 12 and under may bowl three games per day during business hours but no later than 8 pm. This does not apply to any other specials and cannot be used with other specials. Bowling shoes must be worn at a cost of $1.50 and the parent/adult must bowl. The summer hours have been set and they are: Sunday, closed; Monday open at 5 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday closed; open Friday and Saturday at 5 p.m. If you have a special event you would like to hold at the lanes such as a birthday party call them to arrange the hours. They will open during the day for these occasions. These hours begin Monday. Thursday AM finished their season with Barkus Home Center just edging out Raymond James for the top spot. Members of the team are Doris Howard, Ginger Zanto, Marla Boyce, and Christy Holden. Downtowner took third and Havre Paint finished fourth. Everything Electric finished No. 1 on Men's City. As always I would like to thank all of the league secretaries for getting me their standing sheets to be included here each week. I enjoy writing about the bowlers each week and this year has been a challenge most won't forget soon. A huge thanks to all of you for joining me each week, hope you'll be back in the fall. Enjoy your summer, and I will be reading about you in the golf news each week.
