Kathryn Jean Rinehart, 86, of Kremlin, Mont., died May 19, 2010, in Havre, Mont. She was born April 17, 1924, on the homestead southwest of Kremlin, to Ralph and Agnes (Erlandson) Johnson.
She attended Kremlin achools, graduating from Kremlin High School in 1942, and then going to Kinman Business College in Spokane, Wash., graduating with a degree in accounting in 1944.
She married Robert Rinehart Feb. 10 1963, at Kremlin, Mont. The couple farmed southwest of Kremlin for all their life together.
She had worked for the U.S. Air Force as an accountant from 1944 to 1945. She loved gardening, especially raising gladiolas. She loved caring for animals and did flower arranging, showing her flower arrangements at the Hill County Fair and providing flowers for her church.
She was a member of the Kremlin Lutheran Church, and took part in all aspects of church work. She taught Sunday school and was a member of a garden club. She enjoyed having coffee with friends and family around the kitchen table in her home.
She is survived by her husband Robert Rinehart of Kremlin. Those of her family who preceded her in death are her parents.
Funeral Services for Kathryn, will be on Monday, May 24, 2010, at First Lutheran Church in Havre, Mont., with the Rev. Arden Barden officiating.
Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Havre, Mont. Following the services, there will be a luncheon served at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Northern Montana Care Center Chapel Fund, the Havre Kitty Keepers or the Kremlin Lutheran Church.
