Montana State University-Northern head coach Shawn Huse has added another quality post player to the 2010 recruiting class.
Huse recently announced the signing of 6-7 forward Pat Jensen of Missoula Loyola.
A three-year starter for Loyola, Jensen led the team to a 19-6 record this season and an appearance in the Class B state tournament in Great Falls back in March. He also averaged 17.5 points per game and six rebounds per outing.
For his efforts, Jensen was named Class B All State as a senior, as well as being voted to the Class B State Tournament All Tournament team. He was also a three-time Academic All State selection in basketball.
"Pat brings many attributes to our basketball program," Huse said. "He is first and foremost a great person with a great attitude, and is a very good student as well. On the court he is a very good perimeter shooter for a guy his size who can rebound and score in and around the paint as well.
"He has a great deal of potential as a forward and, or guard in our league," Huse added. "With maturity and experience, he really could be a premiere Frontier Conference player very soon. We are extremely excited to work with Pat next year and beyond."
