The Lord called his princess Nicole R. Williams, 35, into his arms Feb. 27, 2010. She was a gift to all whom she touched on her life's journeys. Nicole was born in Kirkland, Wash., on Dec. 15, 1974, and attended Lakeview Elementary School. She then moved to Havre, Mont., where she attended Sunnyside Elementary School and Havre Middle School and graduated from Havre High School. Nicole attended the University of Montana in Missoula to pursue the field of arts. Nicole later moved to Bellingham, Wash., where she participated in art shows which broadened her love for the arts. She looked for more opportunity by moving to Spokane, Wash. Nicole ultimately worked for the People to People program as a graphic artist, advertising their programs and world projects. Those who knew Nicole could be impressed by her creativity, individual strength and ability to see beyond the normal horizon. Nicole always had a very caring and compassionate heart which she shared with her companions, her cats and bird along with every living creature. Nicole's life ambitions were interrupted by her diagnoses with breast cancer in 2006. Nicole chose to focus on the enormous fight that confronted her. Her battle with cancer was courageous, which included all her family and friends, but it was too much for Nicole to win. The Lord in His compassion called her home. Nicole is survived by her parents, David A. Williams of Bellingham Wash .; and Donna L. (Nelson) Williams of Havre, Mont .; her sister, Zena (Williams) Morton of Spokane, Wash .; and her brothers, Jeff Williams of Havre, Mont., and Tod Williams of Seattle, Wash. Nicole had many aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her deeply. The family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane for their support and help through Nicole's fight. On March 5, 2010, the family had a small celebration of Nicole's life in Spokane, Wash. Another celebration of Nicole's life will be held Friday, July 2, 2010, in Havre, Mont. The place has yet to be determined.
