MICHAEL SCOTT RIDER REDDOOR obituary

Michael Scott "Tuck" Rider Reddoor of Rocky Boy, 5, died May 9, 2010, after a drowning accident on Lower Box Elder Creek near Box Elder. He was born June 8, 2004, in Browning, Mont., (sharing the same birthday as his greatgrandma) to Mavis Reddoor and Blair Rider Jr. Michael was a gift from heaven and was entrusted to Brandy Reddoor to be his mother. Michael was a kindergardener at Box Elder School who enjoyed playing outside with his siblings, playing video games, his favorite Guitar Hero and Rock Band. He had the cutest little smile, and his eyes just litup a room. He liked watching "CSI" with his mother and singing the theme song. But most of all he loved wrestling with his uncle. Some of his favorite cartoon characters were Sponge Bob and Phineas and Ferb. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marlin J. Reddoor; great-grandparents George and Lola Sutherland, and great-grandparents Basil Rider Sr. And Yvonne Rider. He is survived by his birth mother, Mavis Reddoor of Browning, Mont .; his father, Blair Rider Jr. Of Browning, Mont .; his adoptive mother, Brandy Reddoor of Rocky Boy; his sister, Rhiannon Rhae Reddoor of Rocky Boy; his three brothers, Blair Rider III, Jayson Rider and Jeffrey Rider all of Browning; his grandparents, Barb Reddoor and Alvah and Barb Sutherland, both of Rocky Boy, and Blair and Pauline Rider and Wanda Sure Chief, all of Browning; his uncle, Curtis M. Reddoor of Kennewick, Wash .; and numerous aunts and uncles. A traditional Native American wake is under way at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church. A funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, at the Lutheran Church of Rocky Boy. Burial will follow at the Reddoor Family Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home of Havre assisted the family in preparations for burial.
