Taun Mark Kultgen

Taun Mark Kultgen, 44, who loved carpentry and mechanics and had worked for the past 13 years as one of the top operators for Lonesome Dove Concrete Pumpers, died Tuesday from injuries received from an industrial accident at the Rainbow Dam jobsite near Great Falls.

His funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the Whitlash Community Church, 40 miles north of Chester. Following burial at the Whitlash Cemetery, a luncheon will be held at the community hall. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester.

Survivors are two daughters, Tauna Denning and Kaeli Kultgen, both of East Helena; two stepsons, J.J. Elm and Brian Elm, both serving in the U.S. military; his parents, Urban and Karen Kultgen of Whitlash; six siblings, Tammy Beyer of Bozeman, Rob Kultgen of Butte, Kent Kultgen of Stevensville, Boone Kultgen of Whitlash, Leslie Peterson of Clyde Park, and Wade Kultgen of Havre; two grandchildren; and his fiancée, Lisa Kudrna of Havre.
