Warburton is no photo-op backer of Second Amendment

Those candidates uncommitted to the right to bear arms always try to lure gun owning voters with the bait of a photo-op picture of the candidate holding a shotgun. Because they are not committed to the right to bear arms, such candidates think voters equate duck hunting with gun rights.

They should be allowed to make that crucial mistake to help us sort out the good candidates from the others.

Rep. Wendy Warburton has proven herself and earned her spurs with the gun rights community. She has a perfect voting record on gun issues in Helena and has even carried bills for her gun-owning constituents. Wendy's photo-op opponent has no record on gun issues at all, except the record that she declined several opportunities to return candidate questionnaires for the Montana Shooting Sports Association and the NRA.

A candidate who refuses to answer questions from MSSA and the NRA and then still claims to be pro-gun is simply fabricating a position to skim votes.
