His wake service began Sunday, Jan. 3, with traditional funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church with Russell Standing Rock and Merle Tendoy officiating. Burial followed at the Rocky Boy Cemetery. The journey feast will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Curtis was born Oct. 4, 1984, to Matthew L. and Joyce (Tendoy) Denny Sr. He attended schools in Rocky Boy and moved in 2006 to Fort Hall, Idaho. Lard, enjoyed 25 years of life. He was known for his personality and fondness for all of his nieces and nephews. He was a direct descendent of Chief Tendoy, Chief Little Bear and Sacajawea. His hobbies included weight lifting, hunting and spearing salmon in Idaho with his Uncle Darrell. His enjoyed music such as Peyote and heavy metal. He was preceded in death by his brother Matthew "Stock" Denny; grandfathers, Udale "Simmer" Tendoy and Walter "Moose" Denny; and grandmother Elizabeth Denny. Curtis is survived by his parents, Matthew and Joyce Denny Sr. Of Rocky Boy, Mont .; brothers, Jesse Denny, Eric Schildt and Guy Ray Small, all of Rocky Boy, Mont .; sister, Tiffany Denny of Rocky Boy, Mont .; nieces, Madison, Araceli, Sher'Raine and Tayshia Denny, all of Rocky Boy, Mont .; grandmothers, Theresa Tendoy and Maxine Denny, both of Rocky Boy, Mont .; aunts and uncles, Ted and Roxanne Demontiney, Walter and Tina Denny. Curtis and Chris Denny, Bruce Denny, Leon and Susan Sutherland and Mario Patacsil Sr., all of Rocky Boy, Mont .; Standford Hill; Georgette and Ernie) Running Eagle, all of Fort Hall, Idaho; Merle and Jean Tendoy of Rocky Boy, Mont. ,; Darrell and Barbara Tendoy of Fort Hall, Idaho, Dorene Tendoy.
