Thank-you to supporters

Editor: Since November 2008, my husband and I have run the community Giveaway House in Havre. It has been a lot of hard work but also one of the most extraordinary and rewarding experiences of our lives.

I am sorry to report that we will not cont inue to manage the Giveaway House any longer.

The board of directors wishes to make changes in how the Giveaway House is run, which will make it better able to serve more people, especially by extending the days and hours it is open. This is a good plan, but more work than John and I can handle.

So we want to say goodbye and give a big thank-you to all of the wonderful people we have met and worked with, many who have become very special to us.

We will miss each and every one of you from Rocky Boy, Box Elder, Havre, Fort Belknap and all up and down the Hi-Line.
