To work as a field service engineer for Tribol Lubrication Company, which later became known as “Castrol." In 1993 Brannon moved to Pocatello to start his own business, Under Pressure, which specialized in the installation of lubrication systems. He loved to travel and made several memorable trips to Alaska, Central America and the 1988 Calgary Olympics. He enjoyed attending old car shows. His prized possessions included a 1983 Buick Grand-National sedan and a BMW motorcycle. Bruce was a movie-buff and an avid spectator fan of all professional sports. Brannon was a quiet, independent man who lived alone. During the past few years he had hypertension and related health issues. His brother, Bill, traveling from California to Montana on a family vacation, stopped at Brannon's home in Pocatello for a visit this past Saturday and found him dead. The coroner's office attributed the death to natural causes. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Brannon, in 1983. Survivors include his mother, Helen Brannon of Chester; his brother Bill (Cathy) Brannon of Antioch, Calif.; one niece, Kelli; two nephews, Jared and Jacob; one uncle, Morton Ogden of Simms; one aunt, Lois Coons of Billings; and and arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester.
