BARBARA ANN “SWISHER” BESEL obituary

KALISPELL Barbara Ann “Swisher” Besel, 59, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.

A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Big Fork with Rev. Tom Gopp officiating. Urn burial was at C. E. Conrad Cemetery. A reception will follow at 2 p.m. Barbara was born July 12, 1947, in Havre to Everett and Maymie (Julkowski) Swisher. She was raised in Havre, where she attended school. She married Gordon Besel on July 18, 1992, in Missoula. She worked for Tomlison Black Reality of Spokane, Wash. For many years. After moving to the Flathead Vaalley, she went to work for the Flathead Bank in Kalispell, as a loan officer. Her interests included her family, friends, gardening, her dog and golf. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Besel of Kailspell; daughter, Teri Szombathy of Sun Valley, Idaho; sister, Patti Best of Spokane; grandchildren, Alexa and Olivia Szombathy of Sun Valley; nephew, Brian Best of Spokane; and niece, Brandy Best of Spokane. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Humane Society NW MT 3499 Hwy 93 North, Kalispell, MT 599901. Arrangements were made by Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
