JENNILEE FOUTS obituary

HARLEM Jennilee Fouts, 44, of Harlem, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home after a long illness.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Turner High School Gym with Pastors Cheryl Hoops and Jack Seimenn officiating. Burial will follow at the T u r n e r Cemetery. A fellowship r e c e p t i o n will follow the committal service at the Turner High School Gym. Jennilee was born Sept. 21, 1962 to George L. and Roxie (Newell) Petrie in Havre. She grew up in Turner and attended schools there. Her mother died when Jennilee was 12 and she was raised by George's new wife, Mary. After Graduation from Turner High School in 1980 she attended MSU-Eastern and NMC. She married Chester Fouts in Turner on July 11, 1987. To this union three children were born. She worked the family ranch with her husband in Turner. She loved her children and family as well as life always with a smile and kind word for everyone. She would offer assistance to all in need. Always a selfless woman. Later in life she was diagnosed with PallidonPonto- Nigral-Degeneration (PPND), a very aggressive neural disorder, which eventually took her life. As she lived with this disease she still had a kind word and a smile for everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her mother Roxie Petrie; brother George “Buck” Petrie and sister Peggy Kaelber. Jennilee is survived by her husband Chester Fouts, children Logan, Taylor, and Shandel Fouts all of Turner; her parents George L. and Mary Petrie of Turner, brother Clarence “Bum” (Linda) Petrie of Malta; sisters Patty (Campbell) Ridley of Columbia, Tenn., and Penny (Joe) Fitzpatrick of Malta. Memorials in Jennilee's honor may be made to the PPND Research Foundation and the Big Flat Community Ambulance Service fund. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
