SHEA POMEROY obituary

Shea Cole Pomeroy, 32, of Havre died at his home Sunday, April 22, 2007.

His funeral service will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Chinook with Pastor Charlie Moody officiating, assisted by Pastor Mike Bradley. Shea was born April 18, 1975, to Denys and Lois (Shennum) Pomeroy. He grew to be a charismatic young man who loved life. He was a talented singer, musician, song writer and artist. He was a loyal and compassionate brother and son, and a loving father. Throughout his battles with cancer and addiction he remained courageous and positive, generously sharing his infectious smile with all. Survivors include his beloved fiance, Tamera Mitchel; their son, Syrus; his mother, Lois Pomeroy of Chinook; sister, Camille (Stephen) Abson- Pomeroy of Missoula; brothers, Seth J. Pomeroy of Havre and Nathan (Leslie) Pomeroy of Chinook; grandmothers, Elsa Pomeroy and Rose Shennum; grandfathers, Earl Pomeroy and John Shennum; great aunt, Janet Olson; great uncle, Harry Olson; and various other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him unconditionally. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a contribution be made in Shea's name to the new oncology center or to the treatment center in Havre. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Chinook.
