ALLEN POTTER obituary

ROCKY BOY Allen Charles Potter, 50, of Rocky Boy, died Friday, April 20, 2007, in Spokane, Wash., of a heart attack.

His Wake service will begin today at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church with his rosary beginning at 7 p.m. today. His funeral service will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday, also at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church with Father Pete Guthneck officiating. Burial will follow at the Courchane Family Cemetery. Allen was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Fort Belkanp to James and Alice (Courchane) Potter. He was raised and educated in Rocky Boy and graduated from Rocky Boy High School in 1974. We went to work on the oil rigs and was a traveler. He worked in Wyoming, Montana and California, and also worked for various roofing companies in New Mexico. Allen enjoyed fishing, working on choppers and cars, playing guitar and spending time with his family and friends. Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Courchane; and father, James Dillard Potter Sr. Survivors include his partner, Patty St. Marks of Seattle, Wash .; son, Dylan Potter of Michigan; daughters, Jonnie Michelle Potter and Jourdan Lee Hoops, both of Fort Belknap; brothers, Harvey James (Judy) Potter of Great Falls and James Dillon Potter Jr. Of Great Falls; sisters, Rita Potter of Great Falls, Denise (Lynden) Billy of Rocky Boy, Lois (Tony Fuentez) Potter of Spokane, Wash., Mary Ann (Winifred) Gladeau of Wyoming, Cindy (Harvey Jarvey) Randa of Great Falls and Lita (Gary) Falcon of Fort Belknap; and four grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
