TERRI MANRIQUEZ obituary

ROCKY BOY Terri Louise Walker Manriquez, 42, of Havre died Monday, March 19, 2007, at Northern Montana Hospital of liver cancer. Her wake service will begin 4 p.m. today at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church and continue through 9 a. m. Thursday.

Cremation will take place. Private family interment will be held at a later time. Terri was born August 26, 1964, in Torrance, Calif., to Larry and Alyce (Brisbo) Walker. She was raised and educated in Lodgepole, Butte and Bell Gardens, Calif. She obtained her GED and attended Fort Belknap College, studying psychology for a few years. In August of 1980, Terri married Arturo Manriquez. The couple made their home in California, Arizona and eventually settled back to Havre to be closer to family. Terri was a very strong woman. She had a great outlook on life and always had a smile on her face. She loved her family and was a personal care taker to many people. She enjoyed reading, quilling, making many craft items and traveling to see other places. Terri was preceded in death by her father, Larry Walker; maternal and paternal grandparents; and son, Maurice Manriquez. Survivors include her husband, Arturo Manriquez of Havre; mother, Alyce Walker of Havre; stepmother, Sandie Walker of Butte; children, Adrian Manriquez, Nathaniel (Jamie Henderson) Manriquez and Jacob (Terra) Walker, all of Havre; 10 grandchildren; sister, Robin Walker of Fort Belknap; brothers, David Walker of Fort Belknap, Randy (Cindy Cate) Walker and Robert Goss Jr., both of Butte; grandparents, Sophia and Daniel Healy of Lodgepole; dog and best friend, Foxy; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
