CHARLES DAVIS obituary

GREAT FALLS Charles G. Davis, 86, of Great Falls, a World War II veteran and retired pharmacist, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in a Great Falls hospital of natural causes.

At Charlies' request no services are planned. Charles was born May 16, 1920, in St Anthony, Idaho. He attended Idaho State University, where he graduated from Pharmacy School. In 1943, he married “Jean” Rhoades in Pocatello, Idaho. He served in World War II in Okinawa. Charles and Jean then moved several times, living in Great Falls from 1958 to 1963, where he worked as a pharmacist. In 1963, they moved to Havre, where he worked at Western Drug as a pharmacist. In 1975, they moved back to Pocatello for a year and then returned to Montana and settled in Chinook, where they ran Davis Drugstore for 16 Years. He was involved in the Masonic Lodge and other numerous organizations. Charles was preceded in death by his wife; a son; parents; and two brothers. Survivors include his daughters, Beth (Owen) Leraas of Great Falls and Judith Grannies of Grants Pass, Ore .; son, John (Katie) Davis of Billings; brother, Kenny Smith of Fort Benton; and grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
