SHELDON WILSON obituary

Sheldon Ray Wilson, 35, of Havre died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at a Great Falls Hospital from a self-inflicted gun shot wound.

Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fifth Avenue Christian Church with Chad Leathermon officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the Vets Club immediately after the services at the graveside. Sheldon was born May 12, 1971, in Havre to Phyllis Wilson and Larry Azure. He was raised and educated in Havre and attended Havre Public Schools. He attended college for a few years and worked at Taco Johns for six years. He then began working in construction and later joined his father in construction. He got a job on the oil rigs as a chain hand. He had a daughter, Devin, who was born in 1996. Sheldon was a person who always had a smile on his face and was good for a laugh or two. He loved to play pool and participated in a pool league. He was very competitive in everything he did. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing. His family was very important to him and he loved his daughter and his nieces and nephews. Sheldon was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Wilson of Havre; father, Larry Azure of Great Falls; stepfather, Robert Brough of Havre; daughter, DevinJo Ray Disalvo of Havre; sisters, Tammy Brough of Chester, Kim Keefe of Glenford, Ohio, Yuula Azure of Lake City, Fla.; brothers, Thomas Wilson of Havre, Troy Azure of Bozeman, Travis Azure of Clarksville, Tenn.; Larry Azure Jr. Of Manhattan and Corey Azure of Bozeman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial contributions in Sheldon's honor may be made for his daughter's education to the DevinJo Ray Disalvo Educational Fund, c/o Tammy Brough, P.O. Box 622, Chester, MT 59522. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
