WILLIAM STORM obituary

HAMILTON, Ontario, Canada William Ray Storm, 63, a retired electrical engineer, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church in Havre with Pastor Michael Dahle officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the graveside service. William Ray Storm was born Aug. 20, 1943, in Williston, N.D., to Ray and Eleanor (Negard) Storm. He moved to Havre with his family, attended Havre grade schools and graduated from Havre High School. After high school, William entered the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 1965. He attended Montana State University and graduated with his bachelor of science degree. William worked as an electrical engineer for the last 10 years in Saudi Arabia as the contract manager for Ericsson. He married Janice Ellen “Bonnie” Dugan, Sept. 4, 1965, in El Paso, Texas. The couple were married for 40 years, when Janice died in February of 2006. William was a member of the Chain Post Legion a division of the American Legion, the Lions Club, and H.O.G. Harley Owners Group. He was a recognized member of the Association of Professional Engineers and was a founder of the Canadian Company Interalia. William was preceded in death by his father, Ray in 1976; and his wife, Bonnie Storm in 2006. Survivors include his mother. Eleanor Storm of Medford, Ore .; children, David Edward Storm of Dallas, Cynthia Ellen Soto of Heidelberg, Germany, and Pamela Rae Storm of Heidelberg, Germany; sisters, Beverly (John) Inman of Havre, Linda (Bill) Neuwerth of Central Point, Ore., and Susan (Sam) Bernard of Phoenix, Ariz .; brothers, Harold (Marie) Storm of White City, Ore., Lamont (Linda Marie) Storm of Vernal, Utah, and David (Rikki) Storm of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and two grandchildren of Heidelberg, Germany. Memorial contributions in William's honor may be made to the American Heart Association 1280 South Parker Road Denver, CO 80231. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
