LISA RAE STUCKEY obituary

Lisa Rae Stuckey, 30, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, from injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident south of Loma.

Lisa's funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fifth Avenue Christian Church with Pastor Rowlie Hutton officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Havre. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the graveside service. Lisa was born Dec. 2, 1976, in Havre to Leland and Peggy (Becker) Nicholson. She was raised and educated in Havre, graduating from Havre High School. Lisa worked as a teacher's aide at St. Jude Thaddeus School and also taught English at the Birch Creek Hutterite Colony. Lisa enjoyed teaching children so much that she decided to attend college to obtain her degree in elementary education. Lisa attended Montana State University- Northern and was in her third year in the education program. While attending school, Lisa worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Lisa was a free spirit who could light up a room with her vivaciousness and her smile. She had many friends and never met anyone she didn't like. Lisa was full of life and had a happy spirit even on the gloomiest of days. The gem of her life was her son, Jayden; she poured love on him everyday of her life. Lisa enjoyed the farm and all the animals. Her greatest enjoyment came from children, her son and all of her many nieces and nephews were very dear to her. She enjoyed canning, crafts, baking, crocheting and needlework. Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her aunt, Harriet McKinniss. Survivors include her son, Jayden Sommerfield of Havre; mother, Peggy and stepfather Aaron Utsler of Dupuyer; father and stepmother, Lee and Nancy Nicholson of Helena; brothers, Wade Russell and Greg (Melissa) Russell of Havre; sisters, Tara Brandon and Anjela Vandenbos of Havre; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends; and special friend, Bob Wolstad of Valier. Memorial contributions in Lisa's honor may be made to the Jayden Sommerfield Memorial Fund, c/o Anjie Vandenbos, P.O. Box 495, Havre, MT 59501. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine.
