Youth bowlers get back to action after Holden's tourney

The Holden's Scotch Doubles was held over the weekend with the following results: Bantams: 1st: Daniel & Tammy Almas 903. 2nd: Kiara Christianson & Sandy Derry 899. 3rd: Jacey & Sharon McDonald 895. Preps: 1st: Alec Drew & Brandon Berreth 1,272. 2nd: Ryne Antley & Cindy Turner 1,240. 3rd: Tyrell & Carina Pierce 1,168. Juniors: 1st: Kaitlyn & Ann McKnight 1,118. 2nd: Brandi Berg & Shawn Dahl 1,084. 3rd: Mark Morrell & Pat Jensen 1,082. Majors: 1st: Joe & Bob Hayes 1,149. 2nd: Savanna Rudio & Dyani Holzhausen 1140. 3rd: Brandon & Brian Berreth 1,128. We would all like to thank Ken & Faye Brukaber for the new tourney board. Four-year-old Jaycee Schlotfeldt bumped her way to a 90 in the PeeWees. Five-year-olds Kaitlyn Boucher and Tommy Brown bowled 82s and six-year-old Tony Antley had a 65. Highs last week for the Bantams were a 65, 61 and 126 by Megan Erickson and an 87 and 136 by Dane Rowlatt. Daeton Keeler shot a 59 and 99, Tracer Nitz a 59 and a 118, Jacey McDonald a 61 and 104 and Tori Hansen a 77 series. 1st (Tie): The Strikers, The Bowling Girls. 3rd: The Strike Master. 4th: The Hot Dogs. 5th: Team 7. Prep highs were Samuel Allison 97, 111 and 283 and Sadie Seidel with a 97, 93 and 261. Layton Ophus had a 97 and a 236 and Jacob Holden a 271. 1st: The Pin Slayers. 2nd: The Burton Strike. 3rd: The 300's. 4th: See Ya Later Pins. Roman Surber had a 214, 202 and 562 and Dyani Holzhausen a 151, 131 and 405 for the Junior/Major highs. Kyle Surber shot a 194 and 532, Paul Jensen a 438, Savannah Rudio 133, Jaylee Berg 360, and Aja Drew a 334. 1st: Cotton- Headed Ni., 2nd: Team 162. 3rd: The Trojans. 4th: The Blonde Bombs. 5th: The Spare Bears. Dana Seidel shot a 520, Terry Wright a 517, Chris Drew a 524, Tera Verploegen a 518, Dianne Watson a 209, and Michale Beck a 204. The men's highs were a 244 by Mike Hamilton and Ryan Mapes' 635. Mike had a 618 and 232 and Ryan a 234. Ron Turner scored a 235, Shawn Mariani and Ron Tompt 233s, Ken Erickson a 238, and Don Jones a 609. The high four-game was Dustin Kinsella's 791. Ron Tompt had a 773, Ron Turner a 768, and Shawn Mariani and Mike Hamilton 763s.

RUDYARD: Dave Watson and Chris Pappas shared high-game honors with their 244s and Greg Spinler had the series of 646 with a 244 game. Watson shot a 603, Jack Jacobson a 611, Monty Groth a 622, and Terry Grant a 606 and a 624. Grant also had the high fourgame of 833. Dani Kline and Marjie Spinler had the women's highs of 224 and 563, respectively. Congrats to Jen Dahlke for her first 200 ever. She rolled a 214.
