LINDA BACON obituary

FORT BELKNAP Linda Marie Bacon, 42, a nurse's aide, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at the Northern Montana Care Center from complications of diabetes.

Her wake and rosary will beging at 7 p.m. today at the Red Whip Community Center at Fort Belknap. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday at the center with burial at the Hi-way Church Cemetery on U.S. Highway 2 east of Fort Belknap. Linda was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Havre, to Benny and Lorena (Buck) Bacon. She was raised and educated at Fort Belknap and New Jersey. Linda work as a nurses' aide in Montana and New Jersey, and as a firefighter for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Linda was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes after the birth of her children. She maintained an active life until recently when she moved in to the care center. Linda enjoyed crocheting, watching movies and visiting her family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children, Clayton Talks Different of Fort Belknap and Brittney Fox of Hays; brother, Benny Bacon Jr. Of Rapid City, S.D.; sisters, Felistis Bacon of Fort Belknap and Lynette Bacon of Scotch Plains, N.J.; adopted brother and sister, Eric Marcello of New Jersey, Cynthia Marcello of Pennsylvania; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
