GREAT FALLS Mary Louise Guza, 83, of Great Falls, a secretary and former Havre Credit Bureau manager, died of natural causes on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006, at a Great Falls hospital.
The funeral liturgy was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Saturday at 1 p.m., with Father Lou Krauth presiding. Burial followed in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mary Louise Guza was born July 16, 1923, to Oscar and Elia (Bernardoni) Bachini in Havre, where was raised and educated and graduated from Havre High School. She married Rudolph “Doc” Guza on August 24, 1946 in Havre. She worked as a manager for Havre Credit Bureau, and as a secretary for Page and Werner Architects. Mary was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Centerville Senior Center. She was an avid bowler for 50 years and enjoyed bingo, crocheting, knitting and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie D'Hooge; and brothers John Bachini and Frank Bachini. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Rudolph “Doc” Guza of Great Falls; daughter, Charlene (Tim) Sticka of Havre; son Thomas (Diana) Guza of Fridley, Minn .; sister Irene (Tom) Hanning of Havre; four grandchildren, Kimmari Sticka, Jilian Guza, Brien Watson and Brooke Steffans; and two greatgrandchildren.
