BIG SANDY Wayne Douglas Glaze, 62, of Big Sandy died Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at his residence, his cause of death is under investigation by the Chouteau County Coroner's office.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at First Indian Baptist Church in Box Elder with Pastor Carl McElreath officiating. Burial will follow at the Big Sandy Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the service at the graveside. Wayne was born Aug. 5, 1944, in Oakland, Calif., to Leslie and Octavia (Straggy) Glaze. He was raised and educated in Oakland and graduated from Oakland High School. Wayne married Sandra Webb on Aug. 4, 1962, in Reno, Nev. He worked at US Pipe and Foundry for 28 years and retired in Union City, Calif., in 2004. He moved to Big Sandy after his retirement. Wayne enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, gardening and football. He was a member of the Tracy Wildlife Organization. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Sandra L. Glaze of Big Sandy; daughters, Brenda L. Glaze of Great Falls, Renne J. Miller (James H. Hewett) of Great Falls, Lorna (Thomas) Barnes of Big Sandy and Karen I Miller of Great Falls; sons, Douglas A Glaze of Great Falls, Nick (Michelle) Miller of Great Falls and Thomas C. Gorman of Great Falls; sister, Renee J. Johnson of Freemont, Calif.; brothers, Ronald Glaze of Castro Valley, Calif., and Robert H. Glaze of San Leandro, Calif.; and six grandchildren. Memorial contributions in Wayne's honor may be made to a memorial of one's choice. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
