JEANETTE CLINE obituary

BIG SANDY Jeanette Elaine Cline, 79, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls of natural causes.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct., 20, 2006, at the Christ Lutheran Church in Big Sandy with Pastor Jeff Stoopes officiating. Burial will follow at the Big Sandy Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the services at the graveside. Jeanette was born Jan. 18, 1927, in Big Sandy to John and Jennie (Upsal) Whetham. She attended school in Box Elder. The family moved in her teen years to Minnesota, where she worked at Dave's Caf. She later returned to Big Sandy and married Marvin Cline in March 1946. They made their home on the family farm west of Big Sandy, where they farmed and raised their six children. Jeanette was a faithful wife and a wonderful loving mother. Her grandchildren and family were a very important part of her life. Jeanette enjoyed bowling, bingo, traveling and playing cards. She was the president of Big Sandy Seniors, on the Council for Aging and a Girl Scout Leader. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin in 1991; sisters, Alberta Garnett and Grace Clawiter; brothers, Clarence, Maurice and John Whetham; son, David Cline, and two infant boys; sons-in-law, John Wagner and Tim Parry; and grandchildren, Sean Figarelle and Timberly Cline. Survivors include her children, Linda (Bill) Hinebauch and Barbara (Edwin) Converse of Havre, John Cline and Margaret Cline of Big Sandy, Carrie (David) Nixon of Ionia, Mich., and Kathleen Parry (Pete Moe) of Lewistown; sisters, Florence Cross of Havre and Mary (Dwight) Ward of Bertha, Minn.; and sisters-in-law, Roberta Whetham and Elaine Cline of Big Sandy; brother in-law, Floyd Cline of Havre; nine grandchildren; a special-host grandchild; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions in Jeanette's honor may be made to the Big Sandy Senior Center, The Big Sandy Ambulance Service, Christ Lutheran Church in Big Sandy or to a memorial of one's choice. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
