NICHOLAS TYLER obituary

Nicholas Charles Tyler, 24, of Havre died of complications from an extended illness Sunday, July 23, 2006, at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre surrounded by his loving family.

A celebration of Nicholas's life will be held at 11 a. m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in Havre. Burial will follow at 4 p. m. at the Big Sandy Cemetery. Nicholas Charles Tyler was born Dec. 22, 1981, to Nancy (Gullickson) Erickson and Rick Tyler. Nicholas attended schools in Big Sandy and Whitewater, and graduated from Havre High School in 2000. As a child growing up, Nicholas loved spending time with his Grandpa Cliff on the family farm. Nicholas demonstrated a natural talent when working with electronics a talent he later fostered while attending fiber optics installation training in Helena. Nicholas displayed a special compassion for those who faced adversities, and he showed respect and love for all. Nicholas had a variety of employment experiences. His career began with Joe and Beth Davidson, whom Nicholas proclaimed were the “best bosses in the world” at Uncle Joe's in Havre. Most recently he was able to pursue his love of the outdoors through his employment with Diamond Back Fencing.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his great-great-grandfather, Leroy Hamblock, greatgrandparents, Marion Lawrence, Birdeen and Jo Gullickson and Nellie Matthews; and his grandfather Cliff Gullickson, with whom he will be laid to rest. Survivors include his mother, Nancy Erickson of Havre; father, Rick Tyler, stepmother Renea Tyler and her family of Great Falls; brother, Brendan Tyler and Brandon's special friend, Taylor Donaldson, of Havre; sister, Shannon Tyler of Havre; maternal grandmother, Doris Gullickson of Big Sandy; paternal grandmother, Shirley Kralich and step-grandfather, John Kralich, of Big Sandy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
