EVELYN LANGEL obituary

RUDYARD Evelyn Louise “Netes” (Narestad) Langel, 99, of Rudyard died peacefully in the early morning hours on Wednesday, July 19, 2006.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rudyard. Burial will follow at the Rudyard Cemetery. Evelyn was born Feb. 6, 1907, at Iola, Wis., to Thomas and Bessie (Larson) Narestad. Her father came to homestead in Montana in 1912, and the rest of the Narestad family followed in the spring of 1913. They lived on a farm 15 miles northwest of Rudyard. Netes' father died in 1913.
