MARION STREETER obituary

EUGENE, Ore. Marion Marcelous (Bub) Streeter, of Eugene, Ore., died Saturday, July 15 , 2006, of natural causes.

A funeral service was held Monday at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Marion was born Sept. 7, 1911, to Orin Bert and Lola (May) Streeter. He married Bernice Huestis in Havre on Sept. 24, 1932. The couple were married for 67 years and had four children. Marion worked as a sugar beet farmer, dairy farmer, fulltime father, and in billboard advertising. He resided in the Lane County area of Oregon for 44 years. Marion was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; and two great-grandchildren. Survivors include his son, Marin Streeter, of Silvania, Wash.; daughters, Delores Mord and Sharon Jenkins of Eugene; son Bert Streeter, of Eugene; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and nine great-greatgrandchildren. Memorials in Marion's honor can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
