BERGER JOHNSON obituary

Berger Alvin Johnson, Jr., 81, of Chester died at a Chester nursing home early Thursday morning, July 13, 2006.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p. m. Monday at Bethel Church in Joplin. Burial will follow in the Joplin Cemetery. Berger was born May 13, 1925 at Joplin to Bertina Kringlen and Berger Johnson Sr. His mother died when he was an infant, so Berger was raised by his father and stepmother, Amelia.
