BRIAN EVANS obituary

Brian Allen Evans, 39, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at his home in Havre. His cause of death has not yet been determined.

Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will be held 6p. m. Monday at Fifth Avenue Christian Church with Pastor Rowlie Hutton officiating. A fellowship will be held at the church immediately after the service. Brian was born Oct. 9, 1966, in Havre to Dave and Ruth (Graham) Evans. He attended schools in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1985. He then attended Northern Montana College and graduated with his bachelor's in education. Brian worked for Havre Public Schools, coaching wrestling. In 1993, moved to Guam to teach for one year. After returning to Havre, Brian began teaching at the East End Colony. He married Michelle Kampf in June of 2000 and they later divorced. Brian went to work for Valley Furniture for a summer job and it eventually turned into a permanent position. He also worked for Office Equipment. Brian was a very kind and generous person who had many friends. He enjoyed music and was learning to play the guitar. He enjoyed all types of sports, his favorite being wrestling. Brian also enjoyed downhill skiing, motorcycling, going to the family cabin at Showdown, drawing, art and his cat, Nikki. Brian took pride in his home and enjoyed completing his needed homeowner projects. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dave and Lillian Evans; maternal grandfather, Hugh Graham; and brother, David Jay Evans in 2000.

Survivors include his parents, Dave and Ruth Evans of Havre; brother, Curtis Evans of Seattle, Wash .; maternal grandmother, Ann Houlton of Havre; aunt and uncle, Dian and Bob Doughten of Chinook; aunts, Ginney Gaschk of Helena, Sherry Graham of Denver, Colo .; uncle, Hugh Graham of Billings; and several cousins. Memorial contributions in Brian's honor may be made a memorial of one's choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
