Alice Marie Geldard, 83, of Havre

Alice Marie Geldard, 83, of Havre died peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. A rosary service will be held at 7

p. m. Sunday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 10

a. m. Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Alice was born June 11, 1923, in Havre to William and Marie (Dolezal) McMillan. She was educated in Kremlin and graduated from Kremlin High School. On June 26, 1943, she married Harry Geldard in Seattle. The couple made their home in Havre and together they raised seven children. Alice enjoyed crossword puzzles and crocheting. She crocheted afghans for all her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and the North Central Senior Citizens Center. Alice enjoyed playing cribbage and solitaire. She had a green thumb and loved growing her plants. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles McMillan; and infant daughters, Nita Sue Geldard and Edith Marie Geldard. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Harry Geldard of Havre; daughters, Carol (Gale) Butterfield of Farmington, N.M., Judy (Mike) Owens of Scio, Ore., Theresa (Vic) Stearns of Corpus Christi, Texas, Nancy (Orville) Wise of Huson and Rita Campell of Havre; sons, Chuck (Linda) Geldard of Havre and Mickey (Judy) Geldard of Havre; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren. Memorial contributions in Alice's honor can be made to the St. Jude Catholic Church. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
