WHITEFISH - Sally Cole, 64, of Rexford and formerly of Havre, died at her home Saturday evening, May 20, 2006, surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Whitefish with the Rev. Patrick Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kalispell. After burial, a luncheon for family and friends will be held at St. Charles reception hall.
She was born Feb. 10, 1942, in Minneapolis. She grew up in Havre and attended St. Jude's Elementary School and Havre Central High School.
She married Thomas Cole in Havre on Jan. 14, 1961, became a homemaker and lived in Havre until April of 1962. She moved to Whitefish and raised her family of four children. She moved to Rexford in the spring of 2001.
She was involved in Ladies of the Moose and the St. Charles parish. She also worked at Flathead Valley Community College Bookstore and as a local election official. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
In retirement, Tom and Sally enjoyed their travels to Nevada and Arizona in the winter and summer fishing trips in Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Russ and Irene Blom.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; sons, Russ (Mary) Cole of Missoula and Mike (Kristen) Cole of Plains; daughters, Becky (Eric) Shroyer of Everett, Wash., and Teri (Glenn) Davis of Missoula; 10 grandchildren; and sisters, Patti Kaye Nelson of Havre and Peg Hartman of East Helena.
Austin Funeral Home in Whitefish is in charge of the arrangements.
