MALTA - Allen Jerry Henry, 49, truck driver of Malta died in a single cement truck vehicle crash at Fort Belknap Reservation south of Harlem Friday, May 12, 2006.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Malta Cemetery.
Allen was born June 14, 1956, in Havre to Jack and Lorene (Sutherland) Henry. He was raised and schooled in Dodson. He worked a summer for Phillips County with a summer program. In 1978, he learned to drive tractor-trailer rigs and began his trucking career to the present. Allen hauled almost everything.
Allen married Verna Jean Olson May 10, 1989, in Malta. He worked for Polzin Inc., for Sanford flatbed hauling and for R&S Trucking of Malta for 14 years. He had been driving truck for Malta Ready Mix since March. Driving truck was his life and hobby.
Survivors include his wife, Verna of Malta; son, Eric Wright of Billings; daughter, Leona Wright of Lodge Pole; brother, Dan Lumsden of Great Falls; granddaughter, Izzabella Messerly; aunts and uncles, Wally and Doris Henry, Elmer and Dora Henry, Pat and Audrey Henry, Shorty and Darlene, Nellie Komis, Louise Zelenka, and Jesse Nett.
Adams Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
