LINDA JORDAN obituary

BELGRADE - Linda Ann “Sam” Jordan, 62, of Belgrade died Wednesday, May 3, 2006.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Bible Church in Bozeman.

Sam was born Oct. 1, 1943, in Sidney to Forrest and Bernice (Fancher) Wilson. The family lived on the farm at Sidney until 1949, when they moved to the Gallatin Valley. Sam grew up and went to school in Big Timber and Bozeman. Quoting her, “Who could ask for a better or more beautiful place?”

She married Lyle Jordan on Aug. 31, 1990, in Glasgow.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Boyd Wilson; father, Forrest; and father-in-law, Johnny Jordan.

Survivors include her best friend and loving husband, Lyle, of Maudlow; children, Kris (Doug) Maas of Great Falls and Katie (Joe) Johnson of Belgrade; mother, Bernice (Wilson) Gilman of Belgrade; sister, Norma (Ken) Peters of Marysville, Wash.; brother, Bill (Sherry) Wilson of Clarkston; mother-in-law, Anna Mae Jordan of Maudlow; beloved nieces and nephews, and especially loved friends.
