WINNIFRED BORCHERS obituary

Winnifred Virginia Borchers, 87, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tim Zerger officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Winnifred was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Grand Forks, N.D.

On July 14, 1947, she married Gordon L. Borchers in Missoula. They had two children. She moved with her husband to Havre in 1956. She was very active for many years in her church and supported many Christian ministries.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon Borchers; brothers, Tom and Bob Brouse; and oldest son, Charles Dunning.

Survivors include her son, Bill (Lynne) Borchers of Lee's Summit, Mo.; daughter, Nancy (Roy) Northey of Helena; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Winnifred's honor may be made to The Community Alliance Church, 925 Eighth Ave., Havre, MT 59501.
