RICHARD GREENE obituary

Richard O. Greene, 76, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Northern Montana Hospital of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held this week at Highland Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Richard was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Havre to Grant and Pauline Greene. He was raised and educated in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in May of 1948. Richard enlisted in the U.S. Army on Feb. 22, 1951, and served in Korea. He was honorably discharged in August 1956.

He married Margaret Simko on Aug. 11, 1965, in Havre. The couple made their home in Havre, where Richard worked for Hanson Sheet Metal. He retired in 1992.

Richard's parents and two sisters preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Greene of Havre.

Memorials in Richard's honor may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
