LOIS RENNE obituary

Lois Elaine Cowan Renne, 71, formerly of Havre, died in the early morning of Friday, March 24, 2006, at Peace Hospice of Great Falls.

Visitation will begin Tuesday at the Holland Bonine Funeral Home of Havre with the family receiving friends at a wake from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Havre Assembly of God.

Lois was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Rhame, N.D., to Kenneth C. and Lavina A. (Anderson) Skeel. She was educated in Bowman. She worked for Havre Ready-Mix for over 48 years.

She loved crafting, sightseeing in the mountains, dancing and visiting with her many loved ones. Lois' main goal in her life was bringing people closer to Jesus. A river of life flowed through her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Survivors include her children, Bonnie Rae (Bobby) Brannon of Pell City, Ala., James Lee (Gina) Cowan of Havre, William Glen Cowan of Crystal Lake, Ill., Cynthia June Latray of Great Falls, Timothy Alan (Becky) Cowan of Edmonds, Wash.; stepdaughters, Susan Holman of Big Fork, Rae Ann Houghton of Ohio, Mary Rothbauer of Wash., and Donna Standing Rock of Oregon; sister, Jean Feist of Bowman, N.D; brothers, Glendon Skeel of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lonnie Skeel Houston, Texas; 28 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Gift of Life Foundation; to Peace Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice.
