EMILIO MORELLI obituary

BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Emilio Joseph “Emil” Morelli, 88, of Burnsville, Minn., died at his home Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, with his loving family at his side.

Viewing will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 11a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church in Burnsville.

Emil was born in Havre to Caesar and Julia Morelli. He was raised and educated in Havre, as was his wife, Margaret Elizabeth (Jacob). He graduated from Havre High School in 1935.

Emil retired in St. Paul, Minn., as assistant regional commissioner of the U.S. Border Patrol's Northwest Region after 34 years of federal law enforcement service.

Emil was preceded in death by his parents, Caesar and Julia Morelli of Havre; brothers, Frank and Armondo of Havre; and sister, Caroline Fedeli of Mendota Heights, Minn.

Survivors include his grandchildren, Dawn Morelli (Edward B.) Titmus III, of Dinwiddie, Va., and John Roland (Shari Leavy) Morelli of Nutley, N.J .; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
