EVELYN LEWIS obituary

TROY - Evelyn Beverly Lewis, 74, of Troy died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at her home on Angel Island in Troy from natural causes.

Services will be held at a later date.

She was born July 22, 1931, in Havre to Aubrey and Elise Erickson Jones. She graduated from Havre High School and Northern Montana College.

She worked in private industry as well as county, state and federal government for 42 years. She retired in 1992.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Aubrey and Robert.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Harold Lewis of Troy; daughter, Carla (Bill) Loepke of California; sons Wayne Lewis of Montana and Harold (Neva) Lewis Jr. of Texas; brother, Don Jones of California; three grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets.

Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
