Jennifer Lindsay Welch, 26, of Havre died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, of leukodystrophy at Northern Montana Care Center.
A memorial service for Jennifer will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Northern Montana Care Center. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday in White Sulphur Springs at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with a coffee hour to follow. A graveside committal will follow at Mayn Cemetery.
Jennifer was born Dec. 17, 1978, to John W. Welch and Mary Clair McGuire in Bozeman. She lived in White Sulphur Springs from 1978 until 1986. In 1986, Jennifer and her family moved to Havre where she attended school.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Clair (Howard Stromberg) McGuire; brother, Courtney (Sarah) Welch; stepbrother, Keith Stromberg; stepsister, Angie Gerhardt; close friend and cousin Grace Johnston; grandfather, Mike McGuire; cousins, Stephanie and Michael Barrett; father, John (Lynn) Welch; grandparents, Gary and Jean Welch; uncles, Ken (Danna) McGuire, Dave and Pat (Debbie) Welch; aunts, Shannon (John) Barrett, Julie (Gary) Thompson, Suzanne (Geary) Crawford and Kathleen Welch (Quoc Ly-Huynh); and many cousins.
Memorials may be sent to Montana State University-Northern Jennifer Welch Memorial Nursing Scholarship.
Twichel Funeral Home assisted the family with the services.
