DENISE DOLEZAL obituary

Denise “Debbie” L. Dolezal, 52, of Havre died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, at her residence. Her cause of death has not yet been determined.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel.

Debbie was born Feb. 8, 1953, in Shelton, Wash., to Robert and Mary Ann (Chase) Vylasek. She was raised and educated in Cut Bank. When she was a freshman in high school, she moved with her family to Havre. Debbie graduated from Havre High School in 1971. After high school, Debbie worked for her brothers at Big Sky 66 as the bookkeeper. Debbie had two daughters, Tracey and Stacey. She married Jerry Dolezal in December of 1972 in Havre.

Debbie enjoyed all animals and especially liked her horses and cats. Debbie was a very artistic and creative person, always making something for someone else to enjoy. She enjoyed gardening, reading true crime novels and fishing. She had a wonderful sense of humor and played many practical jokes on her family and friends. Debbie was a very generous, kindhearted and giving person who never forgot anyone's birthday. She would acknowledge their birthdays with a phone call.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Vylasek; mother, Mary Ann Vylasek; and husband, Jerry Dolezal.

Survivors include her daughters, Tracey Jackson of Valencia, Calif., and Stacey Dolezal of Havre; stepfather, Harley Schnee of Sacramento, Calif .; brothers, Robert P. Vylasek of Great Falls and Stephen J. Vylasek of Missoula; grandsons, Corey, Cayden and Chase Jackson of Valencia; special friend, Paul Nelson of Havre; aunt, Dorothy Durocher of Havre; and adopted daughter, Leanna Magnussen of Havre.

Memorials in Debbie's honor may be made to Kitty Keepers.

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
