BLAINE WOMBOLD obituary

Blaine Lee Wombold, 29, of Havre died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, from injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident.

His funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Havre Assembly Of God with the Rev. Steve Flatau officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the service at the graveside.

Blaine was born Oct. 1, 1976, in Havre to Lauren Lee and Sue Ellen (Korsbeck) Wombold. He was raised and educated in Chinook.

Blaine married Rita Marie Madril on Aug. 9, 1996, in Chinook. The couple lived in Chinook for a few years before moving to Havre in 2000. They have two children. Blaine worked as a drill hand for Red Rock Drilling.

Blaine was an easy-going person who enjoyed joking around with others and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed watching wrestling with his son, golfing, fishing, camping and playing cards. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends. Blaine was a great son, husband, father and friend.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Korsbeck; paternal grandfather, Chris Wombold; and cousin, Jack Brogan.

Survivors include his wife of nine years, Rita Marie Wombold of Havre; sons, Brandon Lee Wombold and Austin James Wombold, both of Havre; father, Lauren (Joan) Wombold of Havre; mother, Sue (Dwight) Bomer of McAlester, Okla.; maternal grandmother, Ellen Korsbeck of Malta; and paternal grandmother, Mary Sampson of Great Falls; sister, Beleisha (Joseph) Bernhardt of Bozeman; brothers, Bill Wombold of Ketchum, Idaho, and Brady (Kelly) Wombold of Helena; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials in Blaine's honor may be made to the Wombold family and they will decide on a memorial in Blaine's honor at a later time.

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
