DOROTHY FLINT obituary

Dorothy Millicent Flint, 83, of Havre died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Northern Montana Hospital of natural causes.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert D. Grosch officiating. Burial will follow at the

Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the Vets Club immediately after the services at the graveside.

Dorothy was born Oct. 20, 1921, in Port Henry, N.Y., to Frederick and Elizabeth (Pritchard) Stellar. She was raised and educated in New York City and graduated from Hunter College in 1941.

Dorothy met her husband, Thomas Flint, while on vacation in Panama where he worked as a civil engineer. The couple married on June 6, 1947, in Panama and lived there until they moved to Havre in 1952. Dorothy worked for Hill County as a social worker in the welfare department for 27 years.

Dorothy enjoyed collecting antiques, was active in the community and was a member of the Eagles and Elks.

She loved life and the people in it. She cherished the time spent with her special friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Flint in 1969.

Survivors include her daughters, Jan (Doug) Hill of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Christine (Alan Donkin) Flint of Stow, Mass.; son, Robert (Karen) Flint of Butte; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials in Dorothy's honor may be made to a memorial of one's choice.

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
