CHRISTINE BOHL obituary

Christine J. Bohl, 72, of Havre died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at Benefis East Hospital in Great Falls of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Tim Maroney officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will follow at the Vets Club.

Christine was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Havre to John and Angeline (Geisinger) Lipp. She was raised and educated in Hingham and graduated from Hingham High School.

On June 27, 1951, she married Aloyse "Shorty" Nold in Hingham. They had two children. Aloyse died in May of 1959. Christine then married Frank Bohl on Oct. 2, 1963, in Hingham. The family later moved to Fort Benton. Christine operated an in-home day care for more than 20 years in Fort Benton.

Christine enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. Her happiest times were spent with her family. She was an avid reader and liked to embroider and make quilts. She loved to play cards, especially gin rummy. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved to bake the family's favorite foods, especially her cinnamon rolls and cookies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Aloyse Nold in 1959; and sister, Catherine Mangold.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Bohl of Fort Benton, children: Donna Rae (Orvie) Kelley of Billings, Wayne (Sharon) Nold of Havre and Ralph Bohl of Havre; sisters, Anna Lipp of Havre and Elizabeth Strong of California; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Christine's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
