ANNE MARIE HENRY obituary

Anne Marie (McGillis) Henry, 82, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes.

A wake service began with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Friday at the Box Elder High School. Her funeral service was scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude's

Catholic Church with the Rev. Pete Guthneck officiating. Cremation will take place and a private graveside service at Highland Cemetery will be held at a later time.

Anne was born Jan. 18, 1923, to John and Phyllis (Salois) McGillis in Dupuyer at Little Badger Creek. She was raised and educated in Babb.

She married Charles (Casey) Henry Jr. on July 16, 1942, in Havre. They moved to Box Elder in 1942. Anne worked as a nurse's aide at the Big Sandy nursing home for 20 years.

She enjoyed her family and grandchildren. She liked to attend basketball games and play poker machines and scratch cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Henry Jr.; sons, John and Eugene (Buddy) Henry; daughter, Barbara; and sisters, Emma Devera, Esther Houle, Isabelle McGillis and Mary McGillis.

Survivors include her daughter, Toni (Steve) Ducharme of Polson; sons, William F. (Bill) Henry, Luke B. Henry and Gordon (Carla) Henry, all of Box Elder; sisters, Darlene Big Spring of Smelterville, Idaho, and Jean (Chuck) Buttler of Box Elder; brother, Joe McGillis of Great Falls; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
