Anne M. Mueller, 85, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at her residence in Havre of natural causes.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Jude's Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert D. Grosch officiating. Burial will be held in Yachats, Ore.
Anne was born Oct. 13, 1919, in Portland, Ore., to Frank and Marie (Frederick) Lang. She was raised and educated in Portland, attending St. Clare's grade school and St. Mary's Academy.
Anne married Jose Torres in April of 1940 in Portland. He died in 1942. Anne then married John Mueller on May 30, 1953, in Portland. The couple lived in Clackamas and Waldport, Ore.
Anne was a wife, mother, homemaker, and caregiver. She enjoyed knitting, genealogy and reading.
Anne moved to Havre in 1998 to be near her daughter. She was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose Torres; husband, John Mueller; daughter, Barbara Mueller Santos.
Survivors include her children, Consuelo (Greg) White of Port Angeles, Wash., Joseph (Carol) Torres of Wilsonville, Ore., Anthony (Keli) Mueller of Astoria, Ore., Martha (Doug) Beard of Havre, Paul (Cheri) Mueller of Healy, Alaska, and Thomas (Arlene) Mueller of Barrow, Alaska; brother-in-law, Francis Mueller of Spokane, Wash.; sister-in-law, Pat Mueller of Fresno, Calif.; many nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
Memorials in Anne's honor may be made to St. Jude's Catholic Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
