MARGARET LAROCQUE obituary

Margaret L. "Marge" LaRocque, 58, of Havre died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, of lung cancer at Peace Hospice in Great Falls surrounded by her family and friends.

Viewing will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the

Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship will be held at the Gallery Restaurant at the Holiday Village Shopping Center immediately after the services at the graveside.

Marge was born Nov. 25, 1946, in Havre to Earl and Grace (Tooley) Johnston. She was raised and educated in Havre.

She met and married Harold John LaRocque, and they lived in Havre, Spokane and Great Falls and had two children. The couple later divorced.

Marge raised her two children in Great Falls, where she worked as a certified nursing assistant for 20 years at Benefis Nursing Home. She also worked in Helena, Butte and Havre as a CNA.

Marge moved back to Havre in 1997 to help care for her beloved mother, Grace. Marge always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and they too enjoyed her vivacious personality. She was the life of the party.

At the time of her death, Marge worked at Intrepid Home Health Care in Havre. She moved to Great Falls to be near her son on July 4.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Johnston, and ex-husband, Harold.

Survivors include her son, Harold (Debra) LaRocque of Great Falls; daughter, Yvonne (Scot) Tempel of Butte; seven grandchildren; mother, Grace Heeter of Havre; sister, Shirley Tagust of Havre; and brother, Earl Johnston of Havre.

Memorials in Marge's honor may be made to Peace Hospice in Great Falls.

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
